Helpline for students introduced
Stirred by the rising cases of suicide among students of SSC and HSC, the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai has introduced a helpline for the benefit of students and their concerned parents.
VS Mhatre, Divisional Secretary, State Board, informed 'we have sent letters to all students who are going to appear for upcoming SSC and HSC exams. This letter underlines the importance of their lives for their parents and urges parents to play a supportive role for their child'.
