Cityplus' initiative to educate all

Cityplus' initiative to educate all
Dainik Jagran Cityplus in association with NGO's like Mermier Bal Ashram (Jan Vikas Society) organised book donation camp on World Book Day (April 23).
Concerned Navi Mumbaikars donated books to the under-privileged children. Dainik Jagran Cityplus took an initiative to do this needful work towards society so that at least the under-privileged can study from the used books of other children. Father Francis, director of ashram, one of the donors Dheeraj Singh and his daughters Jyotika Singh and Annaya Singh were present while donating the books to the street children residing at Mermier Bal Ashram, Koper Khairane. Brother Pradeep expressed, "In Navi Mumbai there are many children who are deprived from the education due to financial crisis. Such donation camps can bring a big relief to those under- privileged who wish to study."
Father Francis, director of Mermier Bal Ashram expressed, "We hope people get inspired with such gestures and do this in their daily life as well."
